Solid 14-gauge steel forms the flat base and tall, sloping sidewalls that bare the marks of the wok’s hand-hammered origins. Sculpted from thick, solid steel and secured with hand-pressed, oversized steel rivets are a curved, long handle and a loop ‘helper’ handle on the opposite side. Pre-seasoned with coconut oil and ready to cook with, the versatile wok is well-loved by chefs for its ability to produce a world-class stir fry, and much more, from scrambling eggs, frying, searing, and braising, to steaming and popping popcorn. Crafted one by one at the one-man Kehoe Carbon Cookware studio, Dennis produces and heirloom cooking tool to use daily and pass down through the generations.
