Bronze.Zeit Cutlery Set

A long time coming, this fork and knife cutlery set by talented Austrian designer and artist David Wolke set our hearts aflutter when it firstcrossed our path, and we have been patiently waiting to showcase it here ever since. The elegant forms of each utensil are realized in recycled, cast bronze and ancient, Austrian Bog Oak. Slim, tapering handles of the beautiful, locally-sourced natural material offer the fingers a delicate, tactile experience, the heavier bronze heads pulling the hand and eyes forward toward the foods with which they will interact. For serving, for special occasions, and for an elevated dining experience, David’s work surprises and delights. Created one at a time by hand at his northern Austria studio, the marks of their handmade stature tell the story of each piece’s origins, designed and made with love, for those who love and dine.
