The classic Japanese hashi style is adapted by artist Eric Wright to form a beautiful dining set that includes a pair of persimmon chopsticks inlaidwith copper and a tinned copper rest. Partially charred by fire for both a handsome two-tone aesthetic as well as protection and durability, the persimmon wood tapers from an octagonal form downward to thin, round tips. Balanced and comfortable in the hand, the natural material offers grip and a wonderfully tactile experience, whether sushi, noodles, salad, or any other dish is on the menu. Solid and weighted, the copper rest matches the domed inlays at the top of the chopsticks and boasts a tinned finish on the top surface.
