Forged-to-shape stainless steel receives a two-tone aesthetic, the low, convex blade bevels receive a classic, utile belt finish, with both flats and integral handle completed with a hand-hewn, forge finish that shows off the marks of each hammer strike and tell the tale of this one-of-a-kind tool’s creation at a small Rhode Island studio. Balancing less than an inch in front of the blade’s 74mm tall heel, the talented Mr. Prince is able to deliver a knife of accentuated proportions with the feel of a daily user. In the pinch grip, especially, the user finds comfort in a handle that seems to float behind the blade, forged from the same original piece of material, and sculpted to welcome the fingers for every cut.
