Reflected Moon Nakiri 190mm

A full, metallic moon is reflected in the ripples of a carbon sea highlighted by the stream of nickel which separates cladding from core. Formulatedand forged at his Philadelphia workshop, Steve Pellegrino has crafted a one-of-a-kind nakiri chef’s knife or all manner of vegetable chopping tasks and more. Thin, hard, and sharp at the edge, 1084 carbon san mai steel is fitted with a lunar-inspired, 44-layer damascus steel plug. Forge-finished flats run the length of the blade beneath the spine, the material extending back to the butt of the handle to form the build’s handsome full-tang construction which features beautiful pieces of sculpted ironwood on each side for comfort and control. A custom cherry wood saya is included.
